On April 25, during the Auto Shanghai 2025, Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group and Bosch Commercial Vehicle Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation around methanol technology research and development, core system integration, and global market layout. Together, they aim to build a methanol electric ecosystem covering “clean energy development, methanol electric technology innovation, and full platform vehicle adaptation.” As early as 2022, Farizon and Bosch have implemented a number of technical cooperation projects, including heavy truck electric drive systems. This cooperation marks the upgrade of the partnership from a single project collaboration to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Through the deep integration of Farizon’s full-platform products and Bosch’s full range of commercial vehicle technology solutions, the two parties will accelerate the implementation of the dual-carbon goals in the transportation sector.
During the Auto Shanghai 2025, the Farizon methanol heavy truck Homtruck and the Farizon SV methanol REV debuted at the Geely Methanol Technology booth, attracting widespread attention from audiences and media at home and abroad.
The two parties will work together to accelerate the global promotion and deployment of smart electric and methanol electric commercial vehicles. The first batch of 1,000 new energy commercial vehicles jointly developed by the two parties is planned to be launched in China and international markets in the second half of this year.
In the future, Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle will continue to work with strategic partners to innovate industrial collaborative cooperation models, fully realize complementary advantages, and accelerate the new future of the methanol era.
